Dr. Randy Gingrich - English
Dr. Gingrich has been teaching for 29 years including Gwinnett Public
Schools, Cincinnati Public Schools, The Ohio State University, and for the past 13 years at Cambridge and Alpharetta High Schools in Fulton. He teaches in the English and TAG departments, teaching 9th and 10th grade honors English, Advanced Placement Language and Composition and a wide range of seminars including Conspiracy Theories, Science Fiction, The Knights Templar, Rock Music, The Simpsons and Philosophy, and Children's Literature. He has a BA in English and History from Michigan State University, an MA in English from Miami University, and a Ph.D. in English Education from Ohio State University.

Explore the universes of DC and Marvel comics and examine how heroes such as Superman, Spiderman, Dark Knight, X-Men, and The Fantastic Four play a critical role in 20th century American culture. Invent your own superheroes as you create your own graphic novels, comics, or animation.
Trust No One: Conspiracy Theories (Dr. Gingrich)
Was JKF assassinated by a lone gunman operating on a magic bullet theory? Is there a secret government site in Roswell (New Mexico) housing proof of beings from outer space landing on earth? This seminar will investigate conspiracy theories in areas such as presidential assassinations, the establishment of a New World Order and the Illuminati, cover-ups involving the government and extraterrestrials.
