Early 20th Century Alliances (Mr. Schuler)
Students will represent one of the major political powers in early 20th Century Europe. Students will need to navigate the complex political and social alliances that developed during the period. At the end of the simulation, students will analyze how their simulation compared with historical events. The game of Diplomacy will be used to simulate the alliance system that developed just prior to the Great War (WWI). You will be one of 7 European powers on the eve of the war trying to diplomatically outmaneuver your opponents
