Global & Cultural Experiences & Independent Projects (Mrs. LeClair-Ash): for all grades during PAWS
Are you interested in different cultures and do you want to add “Global Experience” to your future résumé? Students will explore the many opportunities for gaining international experience, such as study abroad, work & volunteering abroad and backpacking through different countries. Students will plan a work/study abroad experience as well as a backpacking trip through the country/countries of their choice. We will sample foods from other cultures and make connections with other disciplines, such as history, geography, science, art and music.
Students can also do an independent project related to World Languages or Global Experiences. Some suggestions are to create a children's book, trace your genealogy or research a cultural aspect of the world language that you are currently studying.
